About the Classes

Practical and enjoyable, with advice for our daily lives, these classes are taught by Resident Teacher and Western Buddhist Monk, Gen Sanden.  These classes offer simple, practical methods to improve the quality of our life and develop inner peace through meditation and Buddhist teachings. Classes consist of two guided meditations and a teaching to help us solve our daily problems and find the lasting happiness we seek.

No previous experience required – beginners welcome. Classes are presented in series, but each class is self contained.  Drop in any week.

The Teacher

These classes are normally taught by Inkeri Meharg. Over the summer months they are often filled in by other Kadampa Buddhist Teachers.

Inkeri Meharg has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism in Vancouver for over 15 years, and as one of our most long term volunteer managers, she offers her help as the Treasurer. Inkeri teaches the kids class on Sundays, and subs in often for adult classes in Kitsilano, West Vancouver, and our main centre. She integrates study and meditation into her busy family life and all her students find her teachings very sincere and easy to put into practice.
