A MEDITATION 1/2 DAY COURSE
Learn the methods to support and inspire your practice of meditation. Understand the beautify and power of setting up a shrine, making offerings, prayer, and prostrations.
In this workshop we will learn what we need to know in order to start a daily practice: how we can prepare our meditation space, how to set up a shrine, how to prepare our mind for meditation, and the basic prayers and meditations used in Kadampa Buddhism.
Gen Kelsang Thekchen is a Canadian Buddhist monk, and the Resident Teacher of KMC Vancouver. He has been ordained for 17 years. He is well known for his ability to present Buddha’s teachings in a simple, practical and often humorous way, making them easy to put into practice in everyday life.
