A SILENT URBAN MEDITATION RETREAT

LIFE CAN BE HECTIC and overwhelming; it’s easy to be ‘on’ all the time without ever taking the time to be quiet and enjoy a simple day of rest and recharging. During this one-day silent retreat you will have the opportunity to take a break and enjoy a day of silence, meditation, rest and reflection. These guided meditation sessions will enable you to obtain a state of mental clarity and inner peace. These clear mind meditations derived from Buddha’s teachings on Mahamudra will lead you on a voyage of exploration of your mind to discover your own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness. Mahamudra is a deeply relaxing, spacious, and profoundly illuminating meditation. Everyone is welcome!

When the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and the mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arise from within. – Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
