Our weekly drop-in meditation & buddhism classes have a different topic every week so you can always keep learning. Classes begin with a simple guided breathing meditation followed by a teaching and a concluding contemplative meditation based on the topic. There is also an opportunity for questions, followed by refreshments and social time.
No meditation experience is necessary, the classes are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators, and everyone is welcome. Each class is self-contained so you can drop in any week, please arrive 10 minutes early to check in.
MEDITATIONS FOR RELAXATION
Each week, learn one of three simple guided meditations that can be practiced by anyone. With regular practice, these meditations help to relax both body and mind and lead to a deep experience of inner peace. The first is a basic breathing meditation that helps to disengage the mind from the busyness of everyday life and create a special feeling of inner peace. The second combines mindfulness of the breath with visualization, or creative imagination, and leads to a deep feeling of inner calm and purity. The third is a special breathing meditation that combines mindfulness of the breath with the recitation of mantra.

MEDITATIONS FOR A CLEAR MIND
An introduction and three simple guided meditations that will help us to experience mental clarity and inner peace by meditating on our mind itself. The first meditation lays the foundation for meditating on the mind by helping to temporarily overcome physical appearances. The second introduces us to the clarity of our mind, and the third is a meditation on our root mind. Together they lead us on a voyage of exploration of our mind through which we can discover our own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness. All these meditations can be practiced by anyone.
