UNDERSTANDING THE MIND | A Meditation Day Course
Saturday 16 Sept • 10am – 3:45pm
Location: KMC Vancouver 1833 Victoria Diversion, Vancouver
About the Course
Happiness and suffering are feelings – parts of our mind – and so their main causes are not to be found outside the mind. Gain a deep insight into your mind, and discover how an understanding of its nature and functions can be used practically in everyday experience to improve our lives and inspire us to find the ultimate happiness we seek.
In this course, Gen Sanden will be teaching from the book “How to Understand the Mind” by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Through studying the profound teachings in this book, we can learn how to recognize and abandon states of mind that harm us and make us unhappy, gradually replace them with peaceful & positive states of mind, and start to harness the incredible power of our mind. Join us in this special course, and make happiness your immediate reality and discover deeper meaning in your life.
The course will include guided meditations, teachings, and time for questions.
