Gen Kelsang Sanden
Location: Commercial Drive · Kadampa Meditation Centre - Vancouver 1833 Victoria Diversion
We underestimate ourselves, others and what we are capable of. The greatest treasure Buddha offers us is his teachings on our potential: how to recognize it, pursue it with full intention, and actually accomplish.
Through re-educating ourselves about human potential, we greatly improve the ‘scope’ of our view of life and its meaning, and develop the compassion of a Bodhisattva, a being bound for enlightenment out of compassion for others.
At the moment our compassion is stunted and we see little ability in ourselves to address the problems of the world. The Bodhisattva’s path opens us up to a hopeful vision for all living beings which motivates us to work for that vision and benefit all living beings directly.
This weekend Gen Sanden will impart this vision and practical meditations to move into the realm of our actual potential.
