Buddhist understanding of the mind revolutionizes our understanding of, and our approach to mental health. Through understanding our mind, we can easily recognize the causes of our suffering and happiness, reduce the causes of our suffering, and increase real inner causes of happiness.
Through putting these teachings into practice, we will gradually gain mental power to use the experiences of our life to improve our mind and ultimately feel more able, more confident, resilient and capable of deeper and deeper happiness.
Canadian Buddhist monk Gen Sanden will be giving an engaging, informative workshop introducing the essentials of this time proven approach to finding happiness and abandoning all our painful ways of thought.

Gen Kelsang Sanden is a Canadian Buddhist monk, and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Vancouver. He has been a long time student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. He is well loved for his compassion, sense of humour and the clarity of his teachings.
