This workshop provides children with the opportunity to learn simple Kadampa Buddhist teachings and introduce them to meditations designed to help them solve their problems and develop a happy heart.

Children will learn ways to develop and nurture positive qualities through meditation and beneficial thinking. In the class, students will be guided through simple meditations, engage in fun activities, storytelling and crafts.

Designed for age range 6-11 years, all families are welcome and no previous experience of Buddhism or meditation is necessary. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for class to get settled in.  We look forward to welcoming you and your young ones!

10:00 am – 11:15 am First Session
11:15 am – 11:45 am Break
11:45 am – 1:00 pm Second Session

We are a scent free environment. Please help us keep the air we share healthy and fragrance free. The chemicals used in scented products can make some people sick, especially those with fragrance sensitivities, asthma and allergies.

Colleen Neely is a senior Kadampa Buddhist teacher who has been practicing for over 20 years. People are drawn to Colleen’s sincere and humble example, her practical teachings, and her natural warmth and humour.  Colleen teaches the kids classes and also various workshops.
