Join us for this introductory Learn to Meditate series! Learn the art of meditation and bring a sense of balance, peace and clarity into your life and relationships.
Level 1 (4 weeks – January and 3 weeks – March)
Designed especially for beginners to learn the essentials of meditation practice and the Buddhist approach to training the mind.
Level 2 (4 weeks – February and April)
Designed for those who have completed Level 1 or for those those who wish to revitalize their practice and delve deeper into meditation and modern buddhist practices.
Each class will include guided meditation, a talk and a chance to ask questions. Everyone is welcome.
Level 1 and Level 2 are each presented as a series (see below), each class is self contained so you can drop-in any week.

*Please note that Level 1 will be starting March 13. The series will be 3 weeks in March due to our popular Choose Happiness Public Talk taking place on March 7. Class 1 – When life gives you lemons
Learn to take the not so awesome things life throws at us and use them to our advantage
Class 2 – We’re all going to die. Lets talk about it
Lets discuss death and how meditating on it dramatically improves our current life
Class 3 – Kicking bad habits –
Anger, impatience, jealousy, hatred…we’ve all been there. Learn how to not go there anymore
Class 4 – You are not your mind – Let us prove it to you.
Where we learn to distinguish our self from our mind
Jenalee Tsimaras is a dynamic and inspiring Kadampa Buddhist Teacher. She directly shows how young professionals can apply meditation and buddhism to their busy lives.
Kevin McElroy has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for many years. Kevin draws on his experiences as a business leader, husband and father and loves using humour to make the teachings accessible and easy to understand.
