This half day course is designed for beginners and those wishing to go back to meditation basics. In it you will:
  • learn the essentials of Buddhist meditation practice
  • gain experience of 2 different meditation techniques
  • take away practical tools to apply in daily life
  • find that you can successfully maintain a balanced, peaceful mind and a positive approach to all that life offers you
Schedule
  • 10am-11:15am Session 1 – Happiness is possible
  • 11:15am-11:45am – Break
  • 11:45am-1pm Session 2 – Understanding our mind

Cost: $30/No cost for Members

Inkeri Meharg is a senior Kadampa teacher who has been practicing for over 20 years. She brings a wealth of practical experience of integrating Buddhist teachings with daily life. Inkeri teaches the drop-in Meditation and Buddhism class on Sundays, at our main Kadampa centre.

 

COVID GUIDELINES

According to the Provincial Health Officer (PHO):
– Masks are recommended in indoor public places for all people 12 and older who are not yet fully vaccinated
– Some people may choose to continue to wear a mask after they’re fully vaccinated and that’s okay
– Increased social contact is permitted
– If you or anyone in your family feels sick stay home and get tested immediately
