with Gen Kelsang Sanden
Location: Commercial Drive · Kadampa Meditation Centre - Vancouver 1833 Victoria DiversionCost: $50 ($15 for members) Vegetarian Lunch is included
Have you ever achieved a goal only to become disappointed soon after doing so?
You may be used to trying to accomplish “external” goals like getting in shape, landing the job, or getting the raise but with a lack of mindfulness for “inner” goals we are often left feeling hollow, unhappy and unfulfilled.
In this workshop we will explore why we become discontent and feel the only way to become “happy” is to keep chasing. We will learn how to accomplish our desires and dreams without the hangover of “discontent” and how “mindfulness” and “alertness” can become our trusted friends, leaving us feeling at peace, even through life’s messy bits.
Don’t miss this special opportunity to start living life mindfully. Everyone is welcome!
Vegetarian Lunch and refreshments are included.
