What we need is not displays or miracle powers but a clear example of how to enter an unmistaken spiritual path, how to practice the path comfortably and smoothly, and how to complete it successfully.  This is the actual method for solving our daily problems.”  Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

We all have the potential for self-transformation, and a limitless capacity for the growth of good qualities, but to fulfill this potential we need to know what to do at every stage of our spiritual journey.

These classes offer step-by-step guidance on the meditation practices that will lead us to lasting inner peace and happiness.  Together, we will engage in an intense and meaningful exploration of this practice, called Lamrim, the essential meditation of Kadampa Buddhism.

Join us and…

  • Learn Buddha’s teachings in the order in which they are to be practiced.
  • Be guided and train in Lamrim, a methodical practice cycle of 21 meditations
  • Learn to transform  all adverse conditions into opportunities for developing realizations of the spiritual path that will bring us pure and everlasting happiness.
  • Deepen your spiritual practice.  These meditations are intensely practical and on the other hand hugely powerful. See weekly topics and page coverage in the book How to Understand the Mind below.

Each class starts with brief Prayers for Meditation, followed by the teaching, meditation and an opportunity to ask questions towards the end.
