Buddhist meditation is an inner science, and it is geared towards fulfilling our deepest wish, which is our wish for happiness. Through the inner science of meditation, Buddha discovered these actual causes of happiness.   

Through applying the practice of meditation in our life we verify Buddha’s insights directly in our own experience. We become an inner scientist, and in the process learn how to skillfully let go of those states of mind that give rise to our unhappiness, and to nurture those inner states of peace, kindness, wisdom and love that give rise to feelings of authentic happiness.   

In this 4 week series we will explore Buddha’s beautiful teachings on the causes of happiness. With Denise’s guided meditations we will deepen our meditation practice, and find our wisdom growing in our heart and mind.

About the Teacher

Denise is a senior Kadampa Teacher having studied in the tradition for over 21 years. 

She is known for her dedication and clear explanation to help others make progress in their understanding and daily integration of Buddhist teachings and meditation practice. Denise lives on Bowen Island.
