Refuge Retreat

  • Kadampa Meditation Centre Vancouver 1833 Victoria Diversion Vancouver, BC, V5N 2K2 Canada (map)

Through the practice of going for refuge to the Three Jewels – Buddha, Dharma and Sangha – we become Buddhist. Learn what this means on this special retreat. Gen Delek will give an introduction on Friday. The sessions on Saturday and Sunday will be unguided. They will be in conjunction with the prayers The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land According to Highest Yoga Tantra and there will be 20 to 30 minutes of silent meditation in each session. Through such retreats our refuge can become authentic and powerful and we can accomplish all the stages of the path to enlightenment.
